Pockets of freezing drizzle remain possible into the morning hours, but the most persistent freezing drizzle has tapered. Roads and other surfaces may remain slippery this morning. Activity will transition to light snowfall through the morning hours, followed by the passage of an arctic front mid morning into early this afternoon that will bring a dramatic uptick in winds (gusting as high as 40mph at times through the afternoon) along with a burst of snowfall. While snow accumulations will generally be light, hazardous travel is expected as roads become snow covered again and visibility reductions become prevalent due to blowing and falling snow. Be cognizant of conditions and travel cautiously if you must be out and about late this morning through this evening. $$ HAD
