Strong to gale force westerlies continue over Juan de Fuca Strait
this evening ahead of an offshore ridge. These gales will ease by
Thursday morning.

An approaching trough will track across northern waters overnight,
bringing a brief swath of strong to gale force southerlies just ahead
of the trough.
