Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 inch high will continue to settle off the Mid
Atlantic coast today. A weak 29.7 inch low over the central Great
Lakes tonight will pass north of the lake on Thursday, then to the
Gulf of Saint Lawrence by early Friday, with a trailing cold front
crossing the lake Thursday evening. A large 30.7 inch high will then
build across the Great Lakes region Friday through Sunday.
