Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch clipper low will cross Lake Ontario early
this morning, then slide off the New England coast today. A 30.6
inch high will then build from the central Great Lakes to the New
England coastline through Wednesday, before moving southeast of
Nova Scotia Thursday. A cold front will cross the lake Friday, with
a 30.5 inch high then forecast to build east across the Great Lakes
Saturday.

.TODAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
20 knots. Snow showers likely early, then a chance of snow
showers late this morning. Waves 5 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to
5 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest and
diminishing to less than 10 knots after midnight. Waves 1 to
3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 10 knots or less becoming east 10 to
15 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to
20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to
