  Southeastern Brown County in west central Illinois...
  Northeastern Pike County in west central Illinois...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 422 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Griggsville,
  or 9 miles northeast of Pittsfield, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Griggsville, Valley City, Perry, Chambersburg, Versailles,
  Coopertown and La Grange.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT Friday for a
