* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Calhoun County in southwestern Illinois...
  Central Pike County in west central Illinois...
  Pike County in northeastern Missouri...
  Central Ralls County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 824 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 6 miles south of Center, or 8 miles north of Vandalia,
  moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
           to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
           likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Spencerburg, New London, Curryville, Frankford, Saverton, Bowling
  Green, Tarrants, Ashburn, Hull, Kinderhook, New Canton, Louisiana,
  Pike, Barry, Atlas, El Dara, Clarksville and Pleasant Hill.

This includes Interstate 72 near exit 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
