...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of moderate to heavy snow. Total snow accumulations
  between 2 and 6 inches.

* WHERE...South Laramie Range including the Interstate 80 Summit
  between Cheyenne and Laramie.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

  Locally higher amounts are possible at the peaks.

* WHERE...Sierra Madre Range and Snowy Range.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Outdoor recreation could become dangerous to those
  caught unprepared for hazardous winter conditions. Hunters,
  hikers, and snowmobilers may become disoriented and lost due to
  low visibility in falling and blowing snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A break in snowfall is expected through the
  morning with another wave of snowfall this afternoon through 3 PM
  Tuesday.
