MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT FOR THE PACIFIC WATERS ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT

A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over the offshore waters
today. Gale force northwesterly winds are expected off west coast
Vancouver Island, south of the Brooks Peninsula, this afternoon and
evening. These gales will spread to southern Hecate Strait on Sunday.
