...Areas of dense fog and icy roads this morning...

Light winds and partial clearing have allowed fog to form in much
of northern Michigan. This fog is dense in some spots, especially
in the interior of northern lower Michigan, as well as near Lake
Michigan. Visibilities of a quarter mile of less have been
observed.

In addition, moisture from the fog has condensed and frozen on
some roads in the area. Slippery conditions have resulted.

Conditions will improve mid to late morning, as we warm up after
sunrise. But until then, travelers may encounter fog and slick
roads this morning. Commuters should leave extra space in front of
them, and plan on needing extra time to reach your destination.
Use extra care near school bus stops this morning.
