...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL WEBER...EASTERN
DAVIS...SALT LAKE...SOUTHWESTERN MORGAN...WEST CENTRAL SUMMIT AND
NORTHERN UTAH COUNTIES...

At 1031 PM MST...an area of heavy snow was along a line extending
from near Weber State University to South Jordan...and moving
southeast at 20 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Sandy, Ogden, Layton, Murray,
Bountiful, Farmington, Morgan, Hill Air Force Base, West Jordan,
Taylorsville, Roy, Cottonwood Heights, Clearfield, Midvale,
Kaysville, Holladay, Syracuse, and South Salt Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 15 between mile markers 295 and 341.
 Interstate 84 between mile markers 82 and 114.
 Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 108 and 141.

  * Sudden and brief snowfall rates of 1 inch per hour are expected
    in this area of heavy snow.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
