* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  McHenry County in northeastern Illinois...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 911 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Marengo to near Genoa, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, McHenry, Woodstock,
  Huntley, Island Lake, Marengo, Cary, Hampshire, Johnsburg,
  Lakemoor, Fox River Grove, Barrington Hills, Wonder Lake, Lakewood,
  Pistakee Highlands, Oakwood Hills, Prairie Grove, Port Barrington,
  Bull Valley, McCullom Lake, Ringwood, Holiday Hills, and Union.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
