...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MESA COUNTY
THROUGH 630 AM MDT...

At 604 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Grand Junction, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Brief, heavy rain will also occur
         with this storm.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Grand Junction, Palisade, De Beque, Mesa, Cameo, Fruitvale, Molina,
Clifton, Orchard Mesa, and Redlands.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 26 and 67.
 U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 32 and 41.
 Colorado 65 between mile markers 37 and 61.
 Colorado 141 between mile markers 154 and 162.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
