...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 600 PM MDT...

At 530 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Meeker, or 40 miles southwest of Craig, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker, Axial, and Loyd.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 30 and 61, and between mile markers
71 and 73.
 Colorado 64 between mile markers 67 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
