...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EDDY COUNTY THROUGH 1115 AM
CDT...

At 1034 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Brantford, or 17 miles northeast of Carrington, moving northeast at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Rockford, Brantford, and southeastern Spirit Lake Nation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
