The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Nearshore and Open waters from The Islands OH to Geneva-on-the-lake
  OH...

* Until 1000 AM EDT.

* At 830 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms producing waterspouts were
  located along a line extending from 18 nm north of
  Geneva-On-The-Lake to 16 nm north of Avon Point, moving southeast
  at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Western Vermilion, Lorain Harbor, Geneva-On-The-Lake, Vermilion,
  and Cleveland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
