  Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
  out 20 NM...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 340 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Vermilion 31,
  or 11 nm southwest of Vermilion Bay, moving southeast at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  South Marsh Island 217, South Marsh Island 239, South Marsh Island
  243, Eugene Island 24, and South Marsh Island 236.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
