Mouth of the Connecticut River...

* Until 445 PM EDT.

* At 337 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near The Thimbles,
  moving southeast at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* The severe thunderstorm will be near...
  The Thimbles and Madison Reef around 345 PM EDT.
  Falkner Island around 350 PM EDT.
  Central Long Island Sound around 400 PM EDT.
  Six Mile Reef around 405 PM EDT.
  Horton Point around 420 PM EDT.
  Mattituck Inlet around 425 PM EDT.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, large hail, high waves, lightning,
and heavy rain are expected with this storm. If caught on the open
