FOR THE SECOND SYSTEM, RAIN IS IN THE FORECAST FOR THE ENTIRE PANHANDLE BUT MOST OF THE ENERGY, AND HEAVIEST RAIN, LOOKS TO FAVOR THE CENTRAL PORTION - ALONG AND NORTH OF SUMNER STRAIT TO AROUND FREDERICK SOUND INCLUDING PORT ALEXANDER, KAKE, PETERSBURG, WRANGELL, AND NORTHERN PRINCE OF WALES ISLAND. SITKA IS ON THE NORTHERN EDGE OF WHERE THE POTENTIAL HEAVY RAIN COULD FALL. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY WITH LINGERING MODERATE RAIN LASTING THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
