...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN POLK AND
NORTHWESTERN JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Bondurant, or 8 miles east of Ankeny, moving southeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bondurant, Mitchellville, Colfax, Prairie City, Elkhart, Mingo,
Valeria, and Prairie City Krohn Airport.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 near mile marker 95.
 Interstate 80 between mile markers 148 and 158.
