The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Logan County in central Illinois...
  Southwestern De Witt County in central Illinois...
  Northern Macon County in central Illinois...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 600 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located over
  Latham, or 14 miles southeast of Lincoln, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near...
  Maroa around 610 PM CDT.
  Argenta around 620 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 147 and 156.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
