The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Knox County in northeastern Missouri...
  Western Lewis County in northeastern Missouri...
  North Central Shelby County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 503 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Plevna, or 16 miles southeast of Edina, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
           to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
           likely.

* This tornado will be near...
  Plevna around 505 PM CDT.
  Steffenville around 515 PM CDT.
  La Belle around 525 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Bethel, Newark and
Monticello.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
