A ridge of high pressure will stall over Bowie for the next few days.

Gale force northwesterly winds are expected off west coast Vancouver
Island, south of the Brooks Peninsula through Sunday. These gales
will spread to Queen Charlotte Sound and southern Hecate Strait
tonight.
