...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SCOTTS BLUFF...WEST
CENTRAL MORRILL AND NORTHEASTERN BANNER COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM
MDT...

At 307 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, or 15 miles south of
Scottsbluff, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew, Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area,
Chimney Rock National Historic Site, Harrisburg, Wrights Gap, and
South Bayard Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
