* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Harding County in northwestern South Dakota...
  Northeastern Butte County in northwestern South Dakota...
  Southwestern Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota...

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 558 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast
  of Redig, or 18 miles south of Buffalo, moving east at 35 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR REDIG AND SLIM BUTTES.

  HAZARD...Three inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
           Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
           siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Reva, Sorum, Zeona, Redig, Slim Buttes, Sheep Buttes, Crow Buttes,
  and East Short Pines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

This storm is producing destructive winds and large damaging hail.
SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows!
