...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT
FOR WHITE AND PULASKI COUNTIES...

At 919 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles north of Rensselaer to near Wolcott to
Otterbein, moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Winamac, Monon, Brookston, Wolcott, Francesville,
Medaryville, Pulaski, Ripley, Reynolds, Chalmers, Burnettsville,
Smithson, Denham, Indiana Beach, Clarks, Idaville, Sitka, Buffalo,
and Badger Grove.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 185 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for north central
and northwestern Indiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
