For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch high nosing in over the region will exit off
to the east today. A 29.4 inch low will then track north of the lake
on Wednesday, with its front moving through late in the day. A
deepening surface low will then track across the Great Lakes to
southern Quebec Wednesday night and Thursday, while pushing a cold
front through the region. The low will then make its way to the
Canadian Maritimes Friday, while a 29.9 inch high builds across the
upper Great Lakes.

during the day. Waves 6 to 10 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet.
